INET 6: THE STAR: MTV Sorority Life: The Roadies #BostonStrong PT.1

The Roadies are quite most possibly the hardest working band in the New England Area...There influences range from Kiss to Pantera and The Beatles. Recently i caught up with The Roadies drummer Dave Carlberg in the backwoods of New Hampshire. We kicked it drinking some Mountain Dew and eating Pizza .
Dave told me about how MTV picked them to do a few song for the reality show Sorority Life.

An exec at MTV caught the bands show up at Hampton Beach,NH, and it was a rap from there. MTV flew them out to New York City to do some tour dates. Before hitting the Big Apple they had to do a show in Connecticut. As any rockstars would they got completly trashed, while setting up. Out of the corner of Dave's eye while setting up, he saw the venue owner wheeling in cases of soda. "Where are the kegs of beer" Dave asked. The owner walked over , and all he could smell was booze on Dave's breath and the band to . "What are you guys doing?, Why are you drunk ?, this is a show for kids staying sober and off of drugs" asked the owner. Feeling woozy Dave and the band tried not to laugh, and finished setting up. That night they played a great show, trying to look as sober as possible. Dave told me about other incidents in the studio, and taking a piss on a military base hiding from an MP officer.
