You Will Survive...................
As the battle form the presidency stirs, the economy the big talk of the town. Are we better off than four years ago. I'd say a big YESSSSSS!!!. The jobs may not be long lasting in reducing the 8-11% unemployment rates, but at least jobs have been there. We can never blame the President for our financial woes in this economy. Our president is only a speaker of our country . Other branches and private investors are more involved in the economic structure of our country.
The voters listening, aren't really hearin the answers to there own questions, when they are in plain sight. Its is up to you as a citizen/voter to creat your own hopes and dreams even in hard economic times. Dpression we are not, but in hard times people hustle hard. Look at the 1930's during the great depression, people hustled by any means to stabilize there family and pockets. Even if jobs were elsewhere(aka overseas) they left there family, sent money so that there children could have a better future. Children may miss there parent but they turn out alright in the end. SO HOPE IS UP TO YOU!!!! I BELIEVE IN ALL OF YOU !!!!

We live in a new technological age which will raise the unemployment level like it did when the industrial age ended the agricultural society w/horse and buggy. Yet people adapted, just like in all changing times. THEY MADE IT....YOU WILL MAKE IT!!!. CHANGE IS COMING TO AMERICA SO LETS MOVE FORWARD AND HUSTLE...GET FIRED UP!!!!!
VH1's LOVE & HIP HOP's...STEVIE J

Before Love & Hip Hop, befor the Hitmen on Bad Boy, i knew of Stevie J as the producer/songwriter in Da Bassment days with Jodeci. I was always reading the liner notes in CD's where Stevie J's name was in the credits for Jodeci's album The Show, The Afterparty, The Hotel. Right then and there i said to myself, that dude right there is a born star. Stevie still works w/ some of Da Bassment members, Digital Black of Playa, and Mr Dalvin(aka Dalvin Degrate, he and Stevie are like tyhe greatest duo ever). I know Stevie makes Hip Hop & R&B tracks, but his genius runs deeper. I think he could chart top with production w/ the likes of Skrillex, Swedish House Mafia,Calvin Harris, Timbaland ect..STEVIE J REIGNS SUPREME!!!

THROWBACK STEVIE J Interview:
TB: Who are some of your musical influences?
Stevie J: I grew up listening to Quincy Jones, SWV, and some Jodeci stuff

TB: What keyboard are you playing on right now?
Stevie J: I'm playing on the Roland(as he plays a little medley)

TB: When did you pick up the guitar when you were younger?
Stevie J: My Uncle Dave used to play..I would pick up his guitar, and start playing real crazy like. He would look at me and say "Nah, you ain't ready yet".You couldn't hold me now since i got nice at the guitar. Uncle Dave inspired me alot.

TB: I bet you were in awe at how he played the guitar?
Stevie J: Yeah!!! I was just loving it...

TB: When was the first time you got your foot in the industry?
Stevie J: Umm!! it had to be with Jodeci..

TB: How did Jodeci discover you?
Stevie J: Back in the day, me and my buddy sang at this fashion show, and Jodeci popped up. It was history after that..

TB: Where was the fashion show at?
Stevie J: It was in Rochester,NY. I was there because i had lived in Rochester for awhile..

TB: Did you ghostwrite any of the songs on Jodeci's album?
Stevie J: I ghost produced a couple of joints . The industry was feeling what i was doing and i had to give a little bit of me to it..Giving my all in my talents to Jodeci , is what i was doing. As far as ghost producing it was for the check really.

TB: Did you go on tour with Jodeci?
Stevie J: Yess!!! it was nice and it was a great experience

TB: Are you still working with Dalvin Degrate(who has an album coming out 2012-13)
Stevie J: I work with Dalvin from time to time. I haven't been to Los Angeles in a minute though. Cuz he be locked down in the studio

TB: How dis you make the transition from Jodeci to Bad Boy Records?
Stevie J: Well, actually after i started working with Jodeci , iwas doing a session for a group called Total. While writing and playing, Diddy was there and that turned my whole career around..

TB: Tell me what it was like working with the Notorious B.I.G.?
Stevie J: PSSSH!!! man he was one of the greatest artist i've worked with so far. My rise to with Biggie was the man would smoke a bowl of weed, be there til 4 or 5 in the morning. Cats be mad tired , we'd all fall asleep . Biggie would just wake up and be like" Yo i got it, lets go make this track now..Magic would always happen, when the session would start. The way Biggie viewed thing was he was cool, loved his family, his hood, just everybody he loved life. Biggie was real...
