In 2008 Jigga linked up with Live Nation to create Roc Nation. Roc is also short for Roc A Fella Records in which Jay and Dame Dash (Stacey Dash's brother) formed together in the mid 90's . Roc A Fella went on to shell out some of the hottest artists in America like: Memphis Bleek, Freeway, Beanie Sigel, Amil, Kanye West, Rihanna, Teairra Mari, Dirt McGirt, Nicole Wray, Foxy Brown, Twista and it was rumored they were trying sign Big L before he passed.
