Mother's Mustache- REBEL ROCK

I discovered producer Jim Jonsin in the liner notes of Pretty Ricky's first album. The reason for this is i knew Static Major wrote a couple of songs on the album and wanted to see which ones he wrote. Also Jim & Static worked together on a few songs that i liked "Peer Pressure" by Pretty Rick and the Lil Wayne career breakout single "Lollipop" Feat. Static (Grammy Award Winning Song). Rebel Rock Jonsin has a production like no other, with that rock to Southern sweet melodic funk. He is like  what Mike Dean is to H-Town, a legend but he is from Florida. The production he does makes you wanna ride with the windows down, and take in that fresh mountain air while listening to some good ol funk.
Not only does Jim Jonsin produce, he drives racecars with his fellow driver D.J .Randall.

Their company is called Rebel Rock Racing. I have yet to see them race. But i hope when i do it is at Daytona or a race track around my way in Loudon,NH. Never seen a race in my life. Been close to it, while serving hotdogs, hamburgers, and lobsters to the NASCAR drivers one summer in 1995 at Loudon Speedway (New Hampshire). Who knows one day they could let me in the pit ot give a really close up story w/ amazing video . VROOM !!!! VROOOM!!!
Rumor has it that Jim Jonsin, Bubba Sparxxx, and Yelawolf are suppose to form a supergroup called Mothers Mustache. Which takes me to my next story. The day i met Bubba Sparxxx.
I met Bubba Sparxxx  in Scarborough, Maine less than ten years ago when he was with Timbaland's Beat Club label . I found out he was doing a store opening , autograph signing/bbq party in Maine on the Beat Club forum. Here is how that day went...
It was a nice hot summer day, temp. about 80 . Boy, was i feeling and looking good that day. I had just bought a new outfit and a fresh pair of sneaks the day before. So i was trying to look my very best. Not only was this day a party it was also a business trip for my company How Many Mc's Magazine & WUML radio. Luckily i was staying at the family cabin in Maine (just outside of Fryeburg,ME) . Heading out the door,  i hopped in my car and drove to Scarborough which was less than 45 minutes from the cabin. Arriving early like i always do, i went acros the street to Hannaford Supemarket to grab a disposable camera. From there i killed a couple of hours eating my lunch, then smoking cigarettes and talking with some Bubba Sparxxx die hard fans from Bangor,ME.
Right before the doors were about to open for the party at Bullmoose Music.

I spotted my some fam of mine MIC STYLZ...
Me an Mic know each other from WUML 91.5 FM where i interviewed him as an artist on air. As we exchanged daps, came to find out he was there interning for the local Portland radio staion WRED. From one radio person to another i asked Mic "Do you think i could get a drop from Bubba for my show"? (luckily i had a tape recorder with me). He said " I'll let you in now to get it, but after you have to back outside for the store opening ceremony". Finally i greeted Bubba Sparxxx and asked nicely for the drop. He gave the drop without hesitation. Bubba  is a very kind, down to earth dude with great Southern hospitality..Thanx Bubba
After getting the drop, i had a freakin blast. DJ Jon a mix Dj for WRED (who i had met previously at a club i Portland) was spinning cuts frome Bubba's new album, old album, and DJ Enuff's Mudd Katz mixtape feat Attitude, Timbaland, Kiley Dean, Polow (now Polow Da Don), Rich Boy, Petey Pablo, Ms. Jade, and the Youngbloodz. While the music was playing i couldn't help but dance. Th ladies were watching, pointing finger, waving, also wondering why i knew everybody and went in before the store opened to talk to Bubba.  Once the muisc stopped we all got autographs or a picture taken with Bubba Sparxxx (i got both)
Working up an appetite i ate hotdog, and corn w/ Mic Stylz and i thing Bobby Black..
A few weeks later i purchased the album with the free one i already had, plus Kiley Dean's Cd Single. I gave the free copy away on air at WUML 91.5FM where i co hosted a show Ego Trippin Pt.2. Bubba Sparrxxx's second album introduced the world to One Rupublic's Ryan Tedder on "She Tried" and great samples from Area Code 615, and Yonder Mountain String Band. The album was pure street, mixed w/ some country on Timbaland infected creative beats, that got me bangin my head out the window of my car screaming like a cowboy on a bucking bronco.
Speaking of the New South I bring you Yelawolf....

Yelawolf is a garage/ country/punk rock/hip hop phenom from Alabama. I was able to grab his mixtape off of Datpiff.http://www.datpiff.com/Yelawolf-Trunk-Muzik-Returns-mixtape.464831.html
It had killa cuts w/ Paul Wall, Raekwon and Killer Mike to name a few (and worked w/ Jim Jonsin). Yela is an artist of his own style. No one can imitate or duplicate his swag. At times on the mixtape i was waiting for him to break out like Axel Rose, scream some death metal, or sing a love ballad like Smoke E. Diggglera & G.No. Oh! and his BET Cypher verse was the super crazy ill bomb diggidy..LIGHT THE FUSE!!!
Maybe we will get to see Mother Mustache make the light of day. If it was to happen it could surpass the lieks of Maroon 5, Fun. ,Taylor Swift ect...

Sullee ( of the White Rapper Show) interview:

( Sullee song plays in background)

TB: Is this your first single?

Sullee: Yes, i wanted to introduce myself. People might've not seen The White Rapper Show..so i wanted to introduce myself.

TB: Is the album out yet?

Sullee: The album is coming soon. The album is crazy hot. It has Claudette Ortiz, Cool & Dre, Busta Rhymes, Rick Ross, Mims and i got a track with Teddy Riley.

TB: Did Teddy Riley work with you directly?

Sullee: I worked with him in Virginia and Boston.

TB: Isn't it funny though..Teddy was like ( in a soft voice) " Hey, how ya doin" and on records he's so wild hype saying "Yup,Yup"

Sullee: He's the nicest dude in the Universe. When he came up to Boston with Blackstreet , GUY, and SWV he was like " Hi Mrs Sullivan (Sullee's mom) how are you?"He calls my mom..mom now.
